The roots of Village Camping
Village Camping Fico d’India was born in 1976 from the passion of the Pesce family, originally farmers, who transformed their agricultural land into a welcoming tourist facility. Even today, we offer our guests organic vegetables grown directly on-site, respecting our history.
A vision takes shape
In 1960, Antonio Pesce purchased the land, attracted by the centuries-old olive trees. The spontaneous influx of tourists, enchanted by the proximity to the sea, inspired the creation of the campsite. With determination and vision, the family began transforming the land, planting trees for shade and building the first facilities.
The birth of the campsite
From July 1, 1976, the campsite was enriched with three-room apartments, studios, caravans, pitches, bar, minimarket, and play areas, creating an ideal place for relaxation in contact with nature. Antonio and his family have always believed in the value of genuine hospitality, giving travelers moments of carefree joy.
A welcome that continues
Today Village Camping Fico d’India welcomes guests from all over the world, keeping alive the tradition of a stay focused on peace and freedom. The name and logo are a tribute to the prickly pears that have always surrounded our village like a natural frame.
